1.1 SATISFACTION
One of the outstanding rewards of teaching comes when you see students, whom you have taught and influenced, achieve success and move ahead in their chosen fields.
1.2 SERVICE
To lead youth, educationally speaking, from darkness to light, to pave the way for adults to increase their knowledge, improve their skills and sharpen their intellects, is rendering a real service. To teach thoroughly and sincerely is to serve unstintingly without ear for the bell, eye for the clock, or hand for immediate monetary gains.
1.3 SECURITY
In many of the schools throughout the country, tenure in a teaching assignment is now the rule. In industry, those selected to teach in company programs are usually rewarded by additionally compensation and advanced position.
In government assignments, teaching is often the first step to new, exciting careers. Freedom from worry over shifting occupational trends or job changes and the flexibility within the assignment, together with the knowledge that there is a constant need for the services of good teachers, make for real job security.

TECHNIQUES NOTES FOR TEACHERS
I found an old but very useful book of my eldest brother's while i was looking for old magazines at my mother's house last year. The book is entitled TECHNIQUES NOTES TIPS FOR TEACHERS written by James O. Proctor published in 1968. My eldest brother was once used this book when he was studying in SAM HOUSTON STATE UNIVERSITY in 1983. I would like to share the contents of the book to all teachers who are able to read in my blog.
I am no more a cikgu but a teacher....
I experienced being a teacher for 3 years only. After that I was 'forced' to be a teacher. well, it was a bit 'frightening' at first, but since i am in my 19th year of teaching now; i have no 'fear' anymore. I am willing to share my experience, for those who are interested to be a teacher instead of a cikgu.

Earthquake: tremors in JB
I am now in JB attending a course by ICT unit, JPNM. I am here since last Sunday and today is my third day in this hotel.
I got a new experienced today when suddenly i felt dizzy. I saw my table shaking and a few of my friends thought that it was because of the renovation by the hotel. I was busy creating this blog as an assignment for my course here when the tremors happened. Everyone was panicked and we rushed to the elavator to come down to the hotel's lobby. It was around 11.50 a.m. We gathered downstairs for about an hour. It was a relieved when we heard an announcement from the hotel's management saying that the hotel is save to be occupied.
Surprisingly, while I was in my room after lunch; I heard a noise. It was about 2.00 p.m. Then, the hotel's management announced that there was another tremors so we have to gather down stairs. Again!
